The Club

Kirby Tennis club is a very friendly club where all members are encouraged to play. Members who so wish, have the opportunity to play competitive matches for the club teams, and members who would prefer to just play a social game, have the opportunity to come along to the club sessions on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday afternoons, which are open to everyone. These sessions run throughout the week and at weekends, so you don't have to worry about arranging matches, although you are more than welcome to. The club also operates throughout the winter with many members making use of the floodlit courts.

The club enters men's, ladies and mixed  teams in the Colchester and District Tennis League. They also enter teams in the Essex Junior League and the Essex Veterans League.

Kirby Tennis Club has full affiliation with The Lawn Tennis Association and due to our high coaching standards of coaching and promotion of Junior Tennis, the club, are proud to have been awarded the status of Mini Tennis and Raw Tennis Accredited
